1. How do you create or join a League?
To create a league in Bracket MatchUp go to Start a League. The creator of a league is designated League Manager. A player can create multiple leagues under the same login. Players from other leagues have the ability to create their own league using the same login. Note: A league needs to have 8 players in order to activate scoring and points tracking. To join a league go to Join a League. A player can join mulitple leagues under the same login. League Managers can join other leagues as a player using the same login.
2. How many teams does each player get to choose?
The Bracket MatchUp league format allows for 8 players with 8 teams.
3. How do League players pick their teams?
League players can pick teams through an offline draft. Guidelines for picking teams and conducting a draft can be found at Picking Teams.
4. What does it mean to have a roster?
The 8 teams selected by a League player makes up their roster.
5. Can players pick the same team?
A tournament team can not be selected by two players. Once a team has been selected by a player, that NCAA team is no longer eligible for selection by other League players.
6. Can I trade teams with another player or play with less teams?
Until teams are loaded into Bracket MatchUp by the League Manager, players are permitted to trade teams. All players must have the same number of teams on their roster.
7. How do I get points from my tournament teams?
Points are awarded based on tournament wins by a player's teams. Base points are awarded to every winning team per round. Bonus points are awarded to teams who upset higher seeds. All teams on a player’s roster are automatically active and eligible to earn points at the start of the tournament.
8. Do I get more points for upsets?
Bonus points are awarded for upsets.
9. Do I need to activate a team in order to get points?
No. All teams on a player’s roster are automatically active and eligible to earn points.
10. How do you win your league?
The player with the most points at the conclusion of the NCAA tournament is declared the winner of their league.
11. Is it free to play?
Bracket MatchUp is a free service.
12. Does the site permit any gambling?
Bracket MatchUp is an entertainment site only. There is no gambling or wagering conducted on the site.
13. Can a league be set up even after the tournament started?
No new leagues can be created after the end of round 1 of the tournament.
14. What are the main responsibilities of a League manager?
The League Manager is responsible for creating the league. They have the ability to invite players to join the league. A League Manager has the ability to delete league players. A League Manager is responsible for assigning teams to all players based on draft outcome.
15. When does Bracket MatchUp update League scoring?
Beginning after round 1, League scoring will be updated by 6am est. on the morning following the previous day’s tournament play.
16. When can I start going onto Bracket MatchUp to check out scores and results?
All League players have access to their league the minute they join. League scoring will be updated by 6am est. on the morning following the previous day’s tournament play.

18. What are the donations going towards?
