Game Rules
The objective for players who form a League on Bracket MatchUpsm is to score the most points by the conclusion of the Tournament based on wins by tournament teams which each player has chosen through a draft format.
League Set Up Rules
A League Manager is required to setup a League on Bracket MatchUp so Players can then join that league. League should consist of 8 players; 1 League Manager and 7 league players.
Picking Team Rules
Each player is required to select 8 distinct teams from the field of NCAA Tournament teams. These 8 teams will form a Player’s roster within their League.
Teams should be selected through a draft format giving each Player an opportunity to select any available tournament team. All Players must have the same number of teams(8) on their roster at the conclusion of the draft.
A tournament team can not be shared by two players. Once a team has been selected by a Player, that team is no longer eligible for selection by any other League Player.
Setting Up Roster
Each Player will have a roster that will consist of the 8 tournament teams they have drafted. A Player can not compete in a Bracket MatchUp League unless they have 8 teams on their roster.
Scoring Rules
Bracket MatchUp players earn points based on wins by the teams on their roster. Players will earn points from any team on their roster until that team has been eliminated from Tournament play. Points are awarded as Base and Bonus. Bases points are standard points awarded for a tournament game win. Bonus points are awarded to a winning team in addition to Base points when an upset has occurred.
A Player can only get points from those teams on their roster. All teams on a Player’s roster are automatically active and eligible to earn points.
How to Win Your League?
The League Champion is the player with the highest point total at the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament.
Players can refer to the Tie Breaker rules if more then 1 League Player shares the highest point total at the conclusion of the Tournament. |
